Play Leaders
Our Play Leaders are children chosen from our Woodpecker Class who want to make a real difference at playtimes. They help make our playground a fun, safe, and inclusive place for everyone!
👕 Who Are the Play Leaders?
Play Leaders are children who:
- Want to help others have fun at playtime
- Lead games and activities for younger children
- Support children who may be unsure who to play with
- Are easily recognised by their special pink hoodies, so all children know who they can go to for help or a game

🌟 Why It Matters

- Learn about teamwork and responsibility
- Build confidence while supporting others
- Make playtimes fun, safe, and welcoming for all children
✨ How Are Play Leaders Chosen?
Play Leaders are carefully selected from the Woodpecker Class. They are children who are enthusiastic, kind, and ready to make a positive impact at playtimes.
Wearing their coloured hoodies, they are a visible, friendly presence on the playground—someone every child can turn to for help, friendship, or a fun game.
Play Leaders are an important part of our school community, helping to ensure that everyone enjoys playtime and feels included.
