Our Local Church - St Michael & All Angel's

St Michael & All Angel's is the parish church at the heart of our village of Urchfont, standing proudly in front of the village pond and welcoming everyone from near and far. It has stood on this site for hundreds of years, with parts of the building dating back to the 13th and early 14th centuries. It is a beautiful Grade I‑listed historic church known for its impressive architecture and stained glass.
The church is an important part of our school community, and we join together there for special services throughout the year, including Harvest, Christmas, Easter and our Year 6 Leavers’ Service. It is open daily for visitors and worshippers, and our pupils visit during the school year to learn more about its history and place in village life.
Whether used for worship, quiet reflection, community events, or celebrations of our pupils’ achievements, St Michael & All Angels is much loved by our school and village families alike.
Further information about the church and services and be found on the Cannings and Redhorn Team website. https://www.canred.org
